When Jump Desktop is the better pick

  • You work on the Mac from an iPad for hours and need the full desktop in high quality.
  • You need screen-sharing links for people without the app.

When Remolo is the better pick

  • A remote for the Mac: cursor, keyboard, buttons and slides — quicker than opening a remote desktop.
  • A clicker for talks with a timer, notes, a laser and Apple Watch.
  • No accounts: the phone and the Mac pair with a code from the screen.
  • The trackpad, keyboard and clicker are free.

Questions

Can Remolo show the Mac’s screen?

Yes, in Pro — above the trackpad, with a magnifier up to 5×. Over the internet the picture is smaller with fewer frames: it’s for control and checking, not for hours of remote-desktop work.

Can I use both?

Yes: they are different tools. Remolo for quick actions and talks, a remote desktop for long work.
